Halloween is one of the most beloved festivities by both kids and adults. You get to play dress-up, eat candy till your stomach hurts, go on some costume parties drink punch and so on.
Halloween is the perfect time to test your craftiness starting with the craving of pumpkins to the decoration of your whole house. If you want to try something new this year and to prepare for Halloween in advance we present to you 7 fantastic Halloween DIY decorations that are so easy even your kids can do them!
These will make a great decoration and to make them you only need a few items you probably already have lying around the house.
You’ll need a few mason jars in various sizes, white paint (if you can find glass paint that would be awesome), googly eyes and glue.
Paint your mason jars neatly, and once you’ve finished flip them over and let them dry. The next day take you googly eyes and attach them to the jars — and you’ve got yourself some nice spooky mason jars.
If you want, you can also add a led candle-shaped light in the mason jar for an extra effect.
What says Halloween time more than some good old spiderwebs?
For this spiderweb decoration, you are going to need a large trash bag and scissors!
Cut the trash bag so that you are left with two rectangles. Fold them in a way to form a triangle, then fol that triangle two more times. Then draw a stem from the folded point to the end of the triangle. And then start cutting!
You can make a few of these fantastic spiderwebs and tape them together for a fuller look!

Aren’t bats just the coolest? Batman probably has to do something with them being so popular, but anyway this bat wall will look great in your house.
You can also decorate your front door with these bats it’s your choice.
You are going to need a big piece of stronger black paper, scissors, and duct tape. Now if you are artistic you can draw the model of the bat yourself or you can simply print it.
Use that bat shape model and draw around the black paper and once you’ve done that you can cut them out, fold them in half and stick them to your wall or front door.
If you are tired of the same old carved pumpkins you can try this out.
You are going to need a few pumpkins of various sizes, spray paint (white, black, purple) and a paintbrush.
Spray paint your pumpkins in white and wait for them to dry. Then put some extra paint black, purple, blue (depends on what you’re going for) on a plate and put your paintbrush in it.
Take your white pumpkin and start splashing the color on it. You can make a colorful galaxy or just splash the paint around and see what you get.
These cheesecloth ghosts are super cute and very easy to make.
You are going to need a cheesecloth, liquid starch, a medium bowl, tall bottles (or something you are going to mold you ghosts on) and optional googly eyes.
Put the cheesecloth around the mold you choose, liquid starch into a medium bowl and with a cotton ball apply the liquid starch onto the cheesecloth. Apply the cheesecloth several times and let the ghosts sit.
It is going to take a while before they dry so let them sit overnight. You can some googly eyes for the comedic effect.
These spiders will look great on your front porch.
To make them you are going to need styrofoam balls (the size depends on your preference), black pipe cleaner (you are going to need eight for each spider) black spray.
Spray the styrofoam with black spray. You are going to need to repeat that several times because styrofoam easily soaks up the paint. Once they are dry you just need to push in the ends of the pipe and you got yourself some great spiders.
If you want to get a little more creative paint on them some eyes, teeth or just stick googly eyes, they are always a good option.
Fabric candy garlands are super cute and can bring a little sweetness to otherwise spooky decorations.
To make them you are going to need aluminum foil, cotton fabric, and thread.
Make medium size balls out of aluminum foil choose some Halloween inspired cotton fabric with either bats, skeletons, pumpkins or something like that. Cut the fabric and wrap it around the aluminum foil to make it look like a candy bar. Once you’ve done that secure the ends with thread and that’s that.
You can decorate some bowls around the house with them, stick them to your walls or your front door.
